LIFT, an acronym for “Love in Fellowship and Truth”, is a nondenominational Christian Young Adults group within Westside Church located in Chula Vista, California. The Bible verse behind the name which also exemplifies the heart for the group is Hebrews 10:24 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works”.

Love is exemplified through ministry opportunities & loving through acts of outreach services. Fellowship happens when we purpose to grow our relationships with one another and leading each other to grow our relationships with God. Truth happens on Mondays where the young adults meet, open the Bible, and discuss the Word together.

Being a member of Westside Church myself, I was given the opportunity to create the entirety of LIFT from scratch, even down to the name. Creating an identity for the group and watching it grow over the past year has been so fun to watch and be apart of still today!
